Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomeric (TPEE), biocomponent TPU TPEE monofilament yarn is a thermoplastic elastomer that is flexible and elastic and can be used to manufacture products of various shapes and sizes. This material is made from bio-based materials, the main component of which is polyurethane, which is obtained through polymerization using bio-based monomers or intermediates.

In the preparation process of bio-based TPU TPEE mono yarn, renewable biomass raw materials are used, such as cereals, leguminous plants, straw, bamboo and wood flour, corn, cassava, wheat, potatoes, cellulose, palm oil, etc. After chemical treatment, these raw materials can be converted into monomers or intermediates for polymerization reactions such as diisocyanates, polyols, and chain extenders. After further polymerization of these monomers or intermediates, bio-based TPU TPEE monofilaments are obtained.
